CIRCLE is pleased to announce the launch of Real Talk with Northwest Indiana Communities. The first of this new series focused on the lived experiences of Northwest Indiana residents will be December 16th and will feature the recovery stories of two African American women, Victoria Charleston Hanley and Latanza Ramirez. Join us to hear about the challenges, struggles, resilience and joy of recovery. Our presenters will share what it took to achieve and what it takes to maintain recovery.
Victoria Charleston Hanley
Over 22 years ago, Victoria came to Regional Mental Health Center as a patient. She says made the call for help because, “I was sick and tired of being sick and tired.” She celebrates March 18, 1995 as her clean date. Once clean, she continued to work on herself, and she is now the Program Supervisor at Regional Health system in East Chicago.
